Gookie Dough Pretzels

To celebrate the long weekend of relaxing at home while the outdoors are below freezing, we have a little treat for you which requires no baking, is quick, easy and fun! Cookie Dough Pretzel Bites (with the use of Gookie Dough, obviously). If you want something moreish which tantalises the tastebuds in the sweet and salty kind of way, then you need to try these! Absolutely perfect when watching Netflix in bed.

You will need:

Gookie Dough in a flavour of your choice

Pretzels (plain in whatever size you'd like, I'd say the bigger, the better!)

350g of milk chocolate chips

Sprinkles and other extra such as edible gold dust to decorate

Directions

Leave your Gookie Dough out at room temperature, so it softens and is easier to work with. It is recommended that you leave it out for about two hours. Take the Gookie Dough and roll it into tiny balls about a teaspoon each. Sandwich between two pretzels and pop on a plate, then put them in the freezer for thirty minutes.

Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave (about 30 seconds) and dip half of each pretzel sandwich into the chocolate. Alternatively, you can dip it all in and use a spoon to fish it out. Decorate with sprinkles to make it super fancy. Pop on a tray which is lined with parchment paper and put in the freezer to chill so they can set fully. Store the pretzel bites in the fridge before serving.

We know that it can be tedious staying at home, even though we should enjoy the opportunity. However, March has arrived, so can you please sort yourself out, Mother Nature? These beauties are also ideal for special occasions because after all, who doesn't like Gookie Dough? We have Easter coming up so try using Pastel sprinkles instead and tip in melted mini eggs!
