Five Ingredient Salted Caramel Crumble Bars

Bank holiday boredom may hit, as much as we love relaxing, there's only so many repeats on TV you can watch! These five ingredient salted caramel Gookie Dough crumble bars aren't just easy but they're super simple, fun and delicious.

You will need:

One monster tub of Gookie Dough in original flavour

397g of Carnation Caramel

Two tablespoons of all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon of sea salt

65g of chopped pecans

Directions

Heat the oven to 180 degrees and break up half of your Gookie Dough and place it into an 8 inch square tin which has been greased. Press the half of the dough evenly into the pan. Bake this for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and cool for 10 minutes.

Whilst this is baking, in a small bowl, stir your Carnation Caramel and flour until well combined. Pour over the crust in the tin and carefully spread to cover thoroughly. Sprinkle sea aalt and half of the peacans over the caramel.

In another bowl, mix the other half of the Gookie Dough and remaining pecans until well blended and crumble over bars in the tin. Bake for an extra five to ten minutes or until golden brown and cool for one hour. Cut the bars into desired size.

We're in love! Gooey, crunchy, nutty and mouthwateringly good. Happy Easter, everyone! Move over chocolate, caramel is in town.
