Chocolate Chip Cookie Popcorn

Fri-YAY! We're super hyped that we can now enjoy the sunshine and we aren't stuck at our desks. What better way to chill on a Friday evening than having a fresh pint or glass of wine in your hand along with some popcorn and your favourite movie! Better yet, take your homemade popcorn to the cinema (kinda cheeky but who cares, this Gookie Dough popcorn tastes way better).

You will need:

50g of unpopped Popcorn

175g of melted white chocolate

50g mini chocolate chips

One small tub of Gookie Dough which is baked and split into pieces

A pinch of salt

Directions

Place your Gookie Dough on a tray in cookie shapes (about 4 will do) and pop in the oven for 12-15 minutes at 170 degrees or until golden brown. Then let cool slightly.

Melt your white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and stir often to prevent overheating.

Pop your popcorn on the hob and while it's popping away, ensure you pour the white melted chocolate over the popcorn. Take your baked cookies and sprinkle the cookie and mini chocolate chips over the popcorn. Stir together until the popcorn is coated.

Pour the popcorn combo onto a baking tray and add more cooking crumbs until it's your desired taste. Sprinkle with salt and allow the chocolate coating to harden. Put into a popcorn bucket and you're good to go. *Recipe inspiration from Karyn @ Pintsizedbaker.com*

Looks rather delicious to us and we wouldn't pass on the offer. Get your kids in the kitchen this weekend and get creative with them, after all, popcorn is fun.
